YAY RANDOM POST ON DUCT TAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah, duct tape it is the ultimate multi-purpose tool. It can be used to make anything, it can do anything: like fixing holes, ceilings, tires, a wheel fairing on one of the Apollo missions, yep it’s true. If you saw the mythbusters special on duct tape. You saw that they picked up a car with duct tape, built a boat and cannon that worked out of duct tape, made the plates that help the cannon fire cannonballs out of, you guessed it. DUCT TAPE!!!

Originally developed during World War 2 as a water resident tape for sealing ammo canisters, jeeps, and planes so you’re probably now thinking, “No wonder it’s strong.”Duct tape is a vinyl, fabric-reinforced, multi-purpose tape that has a soft and tacky pressure sensitive adhesive and a glossy, non-sticky silver side on the top. When it was first created it was known as duck tape because of its water resistance. Then a company known a Johnson & Johnson used a rubber-based adhesive to help against water, and a fabric backing to add more strength. It as well as many other names such as: “gun tape”, “hurricane tape”, or “100 MPH tape” since a specific type of tape can withstand winds of 100 MPH. In Germany it was known as “Panzertape” to describe its toughness by comparing to a tank the Panzer. It is also for magicians since they practice trying to escape for tough situations. They could just wrap themselves in duct tape.

In conclusion, duct tape has way too many uses and it would probably take days for me just to keep talking about. I’m way too lazy to keep talking about it for a couple of days. Remember this though, DUCT TAPE IS THE FUTURE!!!!!

The Holocaust the most horrifying of all torture techniques and I’ve seen some bad ones before. When she came I thought “Oh yay! A guest speaker, wake me when it’s over.” that was actually the opposite this time. A couple of lessons to learn from Eva Olsson. First don’t be a bully. Second don’t be racist or indifferent. Third don’t be a Nazi.

What really impacted me the most was: why are the Nazis doing this, what was in Hitler’s mind for him wanting to do this? I always thought that god created us to live and coexist in peace, not indifference or racism. Also what impacted me was some of torture techniques that they used to kill some of the Jews. Man they were nasty. What else I couldn’t believe is that they were making my own nation, Romania do this. Well if we didn’t I think that I wouldn’t probably be here today. Am I ever glad to the soldiers that dedicated their lives just for us have a good life today.

I am really glad that Eva came in and spoke to us on that Monday. There will be many things that I will remember from her. First the thing that the Nazis did. Second all the soldiers that dedicated their lives and what those innocent Jews had to endure. All of this happened for one man’s campaign for power, glory, and world without Jews.

In conclusion, even if it seemed that the Nazis could not be stopped, they eventually got terminated by the allies, and don’t get me started about the Japanese.
